Abraham Nunez was traded to the Royals from the Marlins over the weekend and made quite a splash in his debut. Nunez was 2-4 with two RBI’s to help Kansas City top Cleveland 8-7. Nunez’s RBI double in the eighth inning proved to be the game-winner. The Royals built a 7-2 lead by the fifth thanks to RBI’s from Ken Harvey, David DeJesus, Nunez John Buck. Harvey drove in two with a single in the first and a double in the fifth. Buck finished with three RBI’s thanks to a three-run homer.But the Indians chipped away at the Royals lead with two runs in the sixth and runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth. Sean Camp was able to work around two hits and the final run of the game to get his second save. Darrell May improved to 8-11 by going five innings and allowing two runs off six hits and two walks.
