Former Missouri and Paseo High School (Kansas City) basketball player Anthony Peeler has agreed to a deal with the Washington Wizards. Peeler came of the bench for the Kings and was held to career lows in minutes (18.5 mpg) and points (7.5 ppg), but led the NBA in three-point percentage (48.2). Peeler will play for his fifth team in 13 seasons in the league. Peeler was drafted by the Lakers in the 1992 draft and played their until he was traded to the Grizzlies before the 96-97 season. Eight games into the 97-98 season, Peeler was traded to the Timberwolves, where he stayed before his one year in Sacramento.
