The Humansville woman who challenged the school district’s posting of the Ten Commandments and prayers at public functions, has settled her lawsuit. The school district is giving Carrie Roat $45,000 and promises to follow public policy about religion in public schools as set forth in federal courts. A lawyer for the school district says the money involved covers legal expenses.
