Some extra inning magic lifted Cleveland past the Royals on Friday. Indians first baseman Ben Broussard smacked a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th, giving Cleveland a 3-2 win. Mike Sweeney had three hits for the Royals, including a solo home run in the fifth. Matt Stairs also drove in a run for Kansas City. Nate Field suffered the loss in relief. He falls to 1-2.
