San Francisco outhit the Cards 11-4. Barry Bonds connected for a three-run homer off Jeff Suppan in the seventh. For Bonds, it was carer home run No. 683. Albert Pujols finally broke up Hermanson’s no-hit bid with a home run in the seventh. Hermanson gave up just two runs on three hits in 6 2/3 innings. The loss ends the Cardinals five-game winning streak.
