A statewide survey says almost two-thirds of Missourians polled would vote for the gay marriage ban if the vote were today. The Kansas City Star and television station KMBC have run the survey showing 62 percent of the people favor approval. The survey also asked if gay couples should be alslowed to form civil unions but not legally marry. Thirty-three percent of those polled said “yes.” Forty-six percent of those surveyed say there should be no legal recognition of a gay couple’s relationship.
