The interim Superintendent of Schools in St.Louis has signed a contract that makes him the highest-paid superintendent in the state. Floyd Crues will be paid an annual salary of $220,000. The contract with Crues also contains bonuses that could add $42,000 more to the salary. A state audit says the salary is competitive nationally for such jobs.
