President Bush’s re-election efforts continue to emphasize the importance of Missouri, with back-to-back campaign stops scheduled for this week. Vice President Dick Cheney makes a campaign stop in Columbia today, speaking at the Boone County Millwork Showroom and Production Facility. Cheney will have a short stay in Missouri, flying from Columbia to Toledo, Ohio where he will deliver remarks at the Medical College of Ohio. Both Missouri and Ohio are considered battleground states in this year’s presidential election. President Bush follows-up on Cheney’s visit the next day with a stop in St. Charles. The rally will be held at the Family Arena.
