Matt Morris got his 10th win and Scott Rolen drove in two more runs as the Cardinals beat the Reds 7-2. Morris gave up an infield RBI single to Barry Larkin in the first and Brandon Larson knocked in a run with a ground out for Cincinnati’s only runs. Morris worked in and out of trouble, allowing the lead-off man to reach in five of his six innigns. Morris finished with four strikeouts and one walk on Thursday and lowered his ERA to 4.20. Albert Pujols hit his 23rd home run of the year and Rolen blasted his 19th. The Cubs beat the Brewers 4-1, and remain seven games behind the Cardinals.
