Royals’ first baseman/designated hitter Ken Harvey is Kansas City’s lone representative. He’s hitting .304 with 10 homers and 34 RBI’s. Tony Pena will serve as an assistant for Joe Torre…Two Southwest Missouri State alums will be behind the scenes tonight. Astros’ bullpen coach Mark Bailey, who was an All-American with SMS in 1982, will toss batting practice for the National League. Lockwood, Missouri native Rex Jones is the athletic trainer for the Astros and will serve as the National League’s trainer tonight. He graduated from SMS in 1979.
