Missouri’s law requiring women to wait 24 hours for an abortion has been suspended again by federal judge Scott Wright. Wright says he’s suspending the law so Planned Parenthood can file a new state lawsuit asking the law be clarified. Wright’s first suspension of the law was overturned last month by a federal appeals court panel. The law says doctors cannot do an abortion until 24 hours after they have consulted with the woman about the procedure and possible after-effects.
