The Royals scored 10 runs for the second straight day. Kansas City plated five runs in the seventh, and beat Atlanta 10-4, taking two of three from the Braves. Desi Relaford was 3-for-5 with a home run and 3 RBI for Kansas City. Carlos Beltran also homered and contributed two RBI. Joe Randa and Dee Brown also had two RBI each. Darrell May won his second straight start. May gave up just one run in five innings.
