Three Missouri Tigers were picked up in the Major League Baseball Draft. Pitcher Danny Hill was taken by the Blue Jays in the third round. He led the Tigers in strikeouts with 94 and posted a record of 5-5. Fellow pitcher Garrett Broshius went to the Giants in the fifth round. He was a perfect 11-0 in 2004. Outfielder Cody Ehlers was taken by the Yankees in the 11th round. He led the Tigers in hitting (.364), homers (18), and RBI’s (71).…. The only SMS Bear to get drafted on Monday was second baseman Brooks Colvin who was selected by the Tigers in the 13th round. He hit .323 and led the team with 12 stolen bases.
