There are a lot of Stars in LA, but one Missouri native shined the brightest last night. Former Missouri Tiger Kareem Rush was 6-of-6 from the three-point line and finished with 18 points as the Los Angeles Lakers topped the Minnesota Timberwolves 96-90 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. The victory moved the Lakers to the NBA Finals for the fourth time in the last five years. Rush’s performance was his best of the playoffs—he had just 11 points in the series coming into Game 6. L.A. awaits the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pistons and Pacers. Detroit leads the series 3-2 and hosts Game 6 tonight.
