St. Louis Native Hale Irwin shot even par on Monday to finish at 8 under and won the Senior PGA Championship at Vallhalla Golf Club in Louisville. Irwin needed a birdie on 18 to hold off Jay Haas who finished one stroke off the pace. Irwin has now won the Senior PGA four times and joins Jack Nicklaus as the only other player to win the same major on four occasions on the Senior Tour—Nicklaus is a four-time winner of the Tradition. Kansas City Native finished six stokes off the pace at two-under par.
