The Missouri baseball team dealt with a rash of stomach viruses, but still provided the Big 12 Baseball Tournament with a pretty impressive upset. The seventh-seeded Tigers knocked off second-seeded Oklahoma 9-5 on Wednesday thanks to Garrett Broshuis, who improved to 10-0 on the season. Broshuis struck out five, walked one and allowed six hits over 6 2/3 innings. The Tigers led 6-0 before a couple of errors allowed the Sooners to score four times in the seventh. OU made it 6-5 in the eighth inning, but Mizzou scored two in the ninth to give themselves a nice cushion for closer Mark Alexander. Alexander pitched the final 2 1/3 to get the save. Brad Flanders was 1-3 with three RBI’s to lead the Tigers offensively. Missouri will get Baylor Thursday night a 5 PM.
