Southwest Missouri State will move to the losers bracket at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Springfield. The third-seeded Bears, which advanced to the 2003 College World Series, lost to fourth-seeded Southern Illinois 3-1 Wednesday. SMS managed just three hits in the loss and will face Evansville Thursday afternoon at 3PM…Southeast Missouri State, the fifth seed at the Ohio Valley Conference lost 18-9 to Eastern Illinois. They’ll play the loser of the Samford-Austin Peay game, which was moved to Thursday because of rain in Paducah, Kentucky.
