Gasoline is becoming so valuable that some people become gamblers, willing to bet they can fill up their vehicle’s tank and get away from a gas station without paying. Executive Director Ron Leone of the Missouri Petroleum Retailers Asociation says they often fail. Leone says convenience store employees are being taught to be more vigilant, more security cameras are being installed, and some stores are requiring people to pay before they pump.
