They’re running plays, routes, working on steps and following the old elementary school rule: not hitting. The Chiefs began Organized Team Activities (OTA’s) on Tuesday in Kansas City on Tuesday. What are OTA’s? It’s a chance for the team to get together to work on the playbook and being to get in practice mode, but without pads. The activities however do not include draftees or free-agent rookies. OTA’s will continue through Thursday. Chiefs training camp begins on Thursday, July 29 at River Falls, Wisconsin.
