Chaminade won the Class 4 boys golf title yesterday, edging Rockhurst by one stroke. Chaminade senior Justin Bardgett and Poplar Bluff freshman Tyler Hillis tied for the individual title by finishing one under par in the two-round tourney… In Class 3 Mary Institute-Country Day took the title, beating Ozark by five strokes. Senior Garrett Smith of Clinton finished at +2 to win the individual honors. He bested teammate Andrew Shelby, who finished second, by two strokes…. Mount Vernon took the Class 2 title after finishing in second place last year. Their six-stroke victory ended Pembroke Hills’ three-year run as champs. Pembroke Hills was vying for their eighth title, which would have set a MSHSAA record. Versailles sophomore Justin Yoder finished at even par for the tournament to win the individual championship…. Salisbury won the Class 1 championship after finishing in second place last season. They were 19 strokes better than Valle Catholic, which finished second. Salisbury senior Gabe George won the individual title.
