Former Missouri Tiger Anthony Peeler has been suspended two games by the NBA for his altercation with Kevin Garnett in the Kings and Timberwolves’ Western Conference Semifinal series. With about 30-seconds to go in the game, Peeler hit Garnett with an elbow to the midsection. Seconds later Garnett hit Peeler in the chest and Peeler responded by elbowing the NBA’s MVP in the head. He was ejected from the game and will now miss Game 7 tomorrow. If the Kings advance, Peeler will also miss game one of the Western Conference Finals. If Sacramento’s eliminated, Peeler will miss the first game of next season.
