The Missouri softball team was victorious in their opening round game of the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City. Lightning delayed the proceedings by 20 mintues, but once the Tigers got on the field they were able to earn a 4-3 win over Oklahoma State. Morgan LeCluyse hit an RBI single to get things going for Mizzou in the first inning. Freshman A.J. White made it 3-0 with a bases loaded double in the second inning. The win moved the Tigers to the winners’ bracket, but their game against Texas A&M was rained out and will be made up today. Missouri is 27-23 and is the third seed in the tournament.
