Missouri assistant basketball coach Lane Odom has resigned. In a statement released to the media, Odom said that he was resigning to pursue other opportunities. The press release came just hours after the University released the NCAA’s findings. Odom is believed to be accused of many of the minor violations – names of MU staff members and students were blacked out by the university in the copy of the NCAA’s findings. Fellow Assistant Tony Harvey is believed to be the one responsible for the biggest violation, a cash payment of $250 to a player. The Kansas City Star reports that Harvey is currently on suspension and will not be back next season.
