What looked like an easy weekend took a wrong turn for the Cardinals on Friday. Matt Morris surrendered a pair of two-run homers in the first inning, as Montreal hung on for a 4-2 win over St. Louis. Brad Wilkerson and Terrmel Sledge connected of Morris, whose record fell to 3-3. Montreal’s early outburst was enough for starter Sun-Woo Kim, who held the Cardinals to just one run in six innings. Cards outfielder Colin Porter hit his first major-league home run, a solo shot in the ninth. Scott Rolen drove in the other run. He leads the Cardinals with 35 RBI.
