General revenue collections are up again. Revenue Director Carol Fischer says they’ve increased by 6.7 percent over the same period last year. That includes $95.1-Million in federal money to offset loss of revenues from federal tax cuts. Short of the federal dollars, the state’s revenue numbers are still up by 4.8 percent for the year-to-date. As for sales and use tax collections, they’re up 5.5 percent for the year-to-date, from $1.48-Billion last year to $1.56-Billion this year.
