A soldier from Kirksville has been killed in the explosion of a car bomb in Iraq. Sergeant Ryan M. Campbell is one of eight soldier skilled when a station wagon filled with about 500 pounds of explosives was detonated by the driver. Campbell had been scheduled to come home last month but remained in Iraq because the Pentagon extended his tour of duty by three months.
