The University of Missouri is protecting its Tiger. Collegiate Licensing Company, which deals with the trademarked Tiger logo used by the University has persuaded Arkansas’ Bentonville High School to change the logo it uses because it’s too close to the Missouri Tiger. Bentonville has created a new logo for the basketball corut and for the school’s artificial turf football field. But the uniforms using the similar-to-Missouri logo will not be replaced for a while. Bentonville rotates its uniforms every four years and says it does not have the money to make wholesale changes. The school says the uniforms will be phased out during that four-year cycle.
