Senator Jim Talent doesn’t give the 9-11 Commission much of a chance to come to a bi-partisan conclusion on what could have been done to prevent the terrorist attacks of 2001. Talent says the timing isn’t the best, being an election year. Talent also notes the commission is meeting and might reach some conclusions as the nation gets set to decide who the president will be for the next four years. He says the commission, so far, has become a high-stakes blame game. He will wait and see if it produces any solid results.
