The Cardinals blasted five home runs on Wednesday to take a 12-6 win at Houston. Ray Lankford and Scott Rolen teed off in the first inning. Rolen now has eight home runs, which is second in the majors behind Barry Bonds who has nine. Rolen also has 25 RBI’s which leads the major leagues. The homer parade continued in the fourth inning with solo shots from Reggie Sanders and Marlon Anderson. Jim Edmond’s grand slam gave St. Louis a 12-1 lead. Matt Morris was charged with three runs over six innings and improved to 3-1. All three runs were the result of home runs by Mike Lamb and Jeff Bagwell—Morris gave up four hits and had no walks.
