According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a 19-year old dispatcher for the Columbia, Illinois Police Department has been identified as the person contacted to carry out a murder plot by Blues Center Mike Danton. According to the article, Levi Jones was approached by fellow 19-year old Katie Wolfmeyer about the possibility finding someone interested in murdering another person for $10,000. Wolfmeyer met Danton through her part-time job at the Blues practice facility and was arrested for her part in the plot. She made $100,000 bail on Monday afternoon and Danton remains in jail in San Jose, California. Jones contacted authorities about the plot and helped the FBI to get Wolfmeyer and Danton arrested. Yesterday it was learned that the intended target was most likely Danton’s agent David Frost.
