The Royals did it again. They manufactured a 5-3 win over the Indians for their third straight victory. This time, Ken Harvey was the hero, driving in the winning run with a single, which scored Angel Berroa. Benito Santiago followed up with an RBI double to score Joe Randa. In the bottom of the ninth, Curtis Leskanic earned his second save of the season despite issuing two walks. Dennys Reyes got the start for Kansas City and pitched well, despite getting a no-decision. He went five innings and allowed one run off four hits and three walks. Mike Sweeney and Juan Gonzalez also drove in runs as the Royals improved to 4-3 on the season. The winning run in all four victories have come no earlier than the seventh inning.
