If there was any negative news from the Royals come-from behind win over the White Sox on Monday it was the loss of Desi Relaford. Kansas City’s starting second baseman strained a hamstring in the third inning of the opening-day excitement and was put on the 15-day disabled list yesterday. Tony Graffanino, who filled in for Relaford on Monday, will likely take over the starting spot until Relaford returns. The Royals and White Sox took Tuesday off and return to work at 1:10 this afternoon. Darrell May will start for the Royals and Esteban Loaiza will go for the White Sox.
