D.J. Carrasco allowed five runs in the seventh inning as the A’s beat the Royals 7-5 in Phoenix. The A’s held a 2-1 advantage before forcing Carrasco out of the game. The Royals have lost five-of-six and dropped to 10-11-1 in spring training. They’re off today. The Cardinals were off yesterday and face the Marlins this afternoon.
