Senior citizens who failed to meet the February 28th deadline to re-enroll in the SeniorRX Prescription Drug Program will get a new deadline. Stacy Wright with the program says some people who had been enrolled last year didn’t receive re-enrollment forms and they’ll have another opportunity. They were to have re-enrolled by February 28th, but will now have until July 30th, 2004. The deadline extension does not apply to new applicants, those who applied in January or February of this year, or those who previously applied but were told they did not qualify. Anyone wanting more information can contact the SeniorRX Program through the State Health Department.
