The Blues and Ducks skated to a 1-1 tie last night in Anaheim. Ryan Johnson gave the Blues a 1-0 lead in the second period, thanks to a goal assisted by Mike Sillinger. With 4:30 to go in the game, Martin Skoula tied it up with a goal for the Ducks. In overtime, the Blues put five shots on Jean-Sebastian Giguere, but couldn’t score. St. Louis moved into seventh place in the Western Conference, with the tie. They have 81 points on the season.
