The school superintendent in Hannibal is under investigation on a discrimination complaint. The district’s special services director says a complaint has been filed against superintendent John Bringer. Director Karen Morrison says the investigation focuses on a student with a disability who was told by Bringer last December that he could not lead a group discussion or deliver a report on the discussion because he spoke too slowly. The Hannibal newspaper says Bringer has since a pologized. The student says he accepts the apology “up to a point.”
