The St. Louis Rams have a good running back, but it’s safe to say Marshall Faulk won’t be there forever. The Rams have invited former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett to St. Louis for a pre-draft meeting in either March or April. Clarett led Ohio State to the National Championship two seasons ago, but was ruled ineligible before last season after accepting money from a family friend and lying about it. He also got into some hot water with the police after lying about items that were stolen from a car he was borrowing from a dealership and trying to collect insurance money on the items. Earlier this year, he was able to get an NFL rule overturned that allowed him to be in this year’s draft. The NFL’s rule states that a player must be three years out of high school to play.
