You couldn’t have asked for much more from Missouri senior Evan Unrau. She scored 40 points, pulled down 15 rebounds, dished out four assists and had two steals for the Tigers, but she couldn’t get her team past 8th-ranked Kansas St., in a 93-90 loss in double overtime. Unrau’s point total was one short of the Missouri single-game record, set by Renee Kelly in 1986. The Tigers had the game in their hands when they took a 15-point lead with 11:49 remaining in the game, but Kendra Wecker saw to it that the Wildcats prevailed scoring 24 of her 26 points after half time. Nicole Ohlde had 23 and Megan Mahoney had 20 for K-State. The loss dropped Mizzou to 13-11 on the season and 4-9 in the Big 12. Kansas State, which leads the Big 12, is 21-3 and 12-1.
