Missouri’s Tourism Director wants people to plan to take a drive through the state for their spring and summer vacations this year. John Robinson says his agency’s web site, www.visitmo.com, will play a central role in people planning road trips throughout the state. Robinson says the state will be promoting these road trips primarilyto people in the surrounding states, as well as within Missouri’s borders. He believes the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition couid be especially goodfor the small towns along the Missouri River for tourism events.
