The Missouri Women gave 9th-ranked Texas Tech a run for their money, but in the end the Lady Raiders were too much for the Tigers who lost 73-68. Mizzou kept it competitive, tying the game 35-35 late in the first half. Tech wouldn’t allow the Tigers a lead, going on an 18-4 run over the rest of the first and into the second half to eventually take a 53-39 advantage. But the Tigers battled back and cut the lead to one, when Evan Unrau hit two free throws with 1:25 to go, making it 69-68. That’s as close as the Tigers got. Unrau had 17 to lead all scorers. Mizzou dropped to 13-10 overall and 4-8 in the Big 12. Tech is 22-4 overall 8-4 in conference play.
