Two people have been killed in the crash of a small plane in Vernon County, in southwest Missouri. It happened around daybreak shortly after the plane took off from Iola, Kansas, headed to St. Louis. A man and a woman, both from Kansas, are identified as the victims of the crash. No word yet on what caused the plane to go down.
