One of the nation’s biggest makers of communications cables and wires will be created by the merger of a Clayton company and a company from Schaumburg, Illinois. Beldon Incorporated of Clayton is acquiring Cable Design Technologies, the Illinois company. The deal should be done by the end of June. It’s an all-stock deal. The merger will create a compnay with combined sales of $1.3-Billion.
