The Missouri Women were pounded 89-55 by third-ranked Texas in Austin. Mizzou jumped out to an 8-2 lead and had a 12-4 advantage early on, but the Longhorns responded with a 14-0 run and never trailed again. Stretch James led the Tigers in the loss with 17 points and Evan Unrau put in 16 points. Texas had five players in double-digit scoring with Stacy Stephens scoring with 20 points. She was 10 of 11 from the floor. With the loss, Mizzou’s record fell to 11-8 overall and 2-6 in the Big 12. Texas is 20-2 and 8-1.
