The latest installment of the Border War series went to Kansas last night. The 20th ranked Jayhawks beat Missouri 65-56 at Allen Fieldhouse. The two teams went back and forth before KU went on an 8-0 run in the second half. The Jayhawks never trailed after that. Arthur Johnson led Missouri with 15 points. Rickey Paulding scored 14 points, and Travon Bryant contributed a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers struggled from the floor, hitting just 36 percent of their field goals, including 3-of-18 from three-point range. Wayne Simien led KU with 18 points. The loss drops Missouri to 9-9 on the season, 4-4 in Big 12 play. The Tigers visit Nebraska on Saturday.
