A wounded St. Louis policeman is in serious but stable condition with wounds to the hip and shoulder. Officer Gabe Keithly was wounded when a suspected drug dealer managed to get his partner’s pistol. Keithly’s partner, officer Nick Sloan, was killed. Keithly returned fire and killed the suspect, Dennis Hathorn of Centreville.
