Senator Christopher Bond shows well in a statewide poll against likely Democrat opponent Nancy Farmer, but there are some indications his support might be soft here and there. The survey of likely voters shows 52 percent likley to vote for Bond in November, 35 percent favoring challenger Nancy Farmer. But the survey done for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and television station KMOV shows only 47 percent of those polled give Bond a job approval rating of excellent or good. Farmer has a problem of her own. 56 percent of those surveyed say they have no opinion about her. Of those remaining, 28 percent think favorably ofher. 16 percent have an unfavorable opinion.
