Blues goaltender Reinhard Divis had a shut out staring him in the face, but Jeff Cowan took it away from him as the Blues and Thrashers skated to a 1-1 tie in Atlanta. Cowan beat Divis on a goal with 2:24 to go in the game. Divis finished with 22 saves on the night and is still unbeaten in a back up role, with three wins and last night’s tie. Scott Mellanby’s 11th goal of the season accounted for the Blues’ only tally. St. Louis is seven points behind first-place Detroit in the Central Division.
