The UMKC men won their fifth game in a row by topping Texas Pan-American 77-69 in a non-conference road game. Michael Watson hit seven of 13 shots from behind the three-point line and scored 30 in the non-conference affair. Michael English had 15, Brandon Lipsey scored 11 and Brandon Temple had 10 points as the ‘Roos improved to 9-7 on the season. UMKC returns to Mid-Con Conference play on Thursday when they host IUPUI. The ‘Roos are 4-1 in conference play and are a half-game out of first in the MCC behind Oral Roberts. IUPUI, which won the Mid-Con tournament last season, is 3-2 in conference play and 10-6 overall.
