SMS senior Terrance McGee was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference first team on Tuesday. McGee averaged 14 points and four assists per game in the regular season. He finished third in the player of the year voting behind Southern Illinois’ Kent Williams and Creighton’s Kyle Korver, who won the award for the second straight season. McGee and the rest of the Bears are getting ready for Saturday’s game in the MVC Tournament. They’ll play fifth seeded Evansville.
