Another University of Missouri athlete has been charged with a felony. Football player Nick Tarpoff was arraigned yesterday on a felony gun charge. Police found a sawed off shotgun in Tarpoff’s home last week. On Wednesday Tarpoff told police that he was shot in the arm by a burglar, but later admitted making up the story because he accidentally shot himself. The Athletic Department suspended him indefinitely. The same procedure was taken last month when basketball player Ricky Clemons was arrested for felony assault and missed one game.
